what you'll play

Your playlist is the lesson plan.

Students bring the songs they love and we arrange them for their level, so even beginners play music they recognize. Along the way we build the skills that make every new song easier.

What piano builds

Piano asks both hands to do different jobs at once while your eyes and ears follow along. That makes it one of the best whole brain workouts there is, and it feels like playing your favorite song.

Two hands, two jobs

Focus

Staying with a song from start to finish grows attention each week.

Piano questions

Do I need a piano at home?

A keyboard is fine to start. We can help you choose one; a full size keyboard with weighted keys is a great middle ground.

What age can my child start piano?

Many kids start around age 4 or 5 with short, playful lessons. There is no upper age limit.

How soon will I play a real song?

Most students play a simple version of a song they know in the first few lessons. Every student moves at their own pace.

Do you teach reading music?

Yes, when the student is ready. Some start by ear and chords, others love reading right away. We follow your lead.

Can adults start piano as complete beginners?

Absolutely. Many of our piano students are adults learning for the first time or coming back after years away.

Do online piano lessons work?

Yes. With a keyboard and a phone or laptop camera, online lessons work great, with the same teachers and songs.
