"We're so grateful for the amazing music program at OC Music, where my daughter has found a haven of peace… her music teacher Jose, been incredibly patient and understanding, tailoring the classes to meet her unique needs and incorporating her sensory routine… For my autistic daughter, music has been a source of calm and joy, and the team at OC Music has gone above and beyond to nurture her passion."

What learning music builds

Playing an instrument is a workout for the whole brain. While you are having fun with your favorite songs, you are building skills that show up everywhere else.

Focus

Staying with a song from start to finish stretches attention a little more each week.

Coordination

Hands, eyes, ears, and feet learn to work together.

Memory

Patterns, lyrics, and chords train recall in a way that feels like play.

Calm and confidence

A healthy way to unwind, and proof with every song that you can learn hard things.

What age can my child start music lessons?

Many students start around age 4 or 5. For little ones we keep lessons to 30 minutes, full of movement, songs, and games.

Am I too old to learn an instrument?

Never. We teach adults and seniors every week, including complete beginners.

Do you teach students with special needs?

Yes. Our teachers are patient and flexible, and we shape every lesson around how each student learns best. All abilities are welcome.

How long are lessons?

30, 45, or 60 minutes. We will help you pick the right length for your age and goals.

Do I need an instrument at home?

It helps, but you do not need one to start. We can suggest affordable options once you know you love it.

Can siblings or friends learn together?
