You will provide individualized and group music therapy services in our thoughtfully designed studio and throughout the community while collaborating with a team that genuinely enjoys learning from one another. Through mentorship, shared ideas, and ongoing professional development, you will continue growing as a clinician while cultivating your own unique clinical voice.
You will build meaningful relationships with clients and families, create music therapy experiences that honor each individual’s strengths, and help every client feel successful.
Your Day to Day
- Assess clients’ social, emotional, communication, physical, cognitive, and musical needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Plan and facilitate engaging individual and group music therapy and adapted lesson sessions using evidence based musical interventions while continuously reassessing client progress.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plan updates.
- Collaborate closely with the Clinical Supervisor, OCMS team members, families and related service providers to ensure coordinated, client centered care.
- Represent the organization through recitals, special events, community outreach, and family engagement activities while promoting inclusive and fun music experiences.
What We Are Looking For
Required qualifications:
- MT-BC (Music Therapist – Board Certified) credential, or board-eligible with a scheduled exam date
- Functional skills on piano, guitar, and voice
- Experience with autism and a range of neurodiverse diagnoses
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Valid drivers license
Preferred qualifications:
- Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) training or certification
- Experience with pediatric clients and child development
- Experience leading groups across ages and abilities
- Familiarity with Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) and AAC
- Additional instrumental skills (ukulele, percussion, voice, etc.).

Music Enrichment Instructor

You’ll lead engaging early childhood music classes while growing through mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities to expand your skills in adapted music lessons and inclusive teaching practices. You will create musical experiences that meet students where they are, honor their individual strengths, and help every student feel successful.
Your Day to Day
- Lead fun, engaging preschool and early childhood group music classes from our OCMS curriculum library that incorporate singing, movement, rhythm, instrument exploration, and creative play.
- Share your love of music through engaging individual and small group lessons in piano, guitar, voice, or your primary instrument.
- Create a welcoming, encouraging environment where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to make music.
- Design creative, individualized lessons that build musical skills while encouraging confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of music.
- Adapt your teaching to meet each student’s unique strengths, learning style, and goals, helping every child experience success.
- Prepare students for recitals, community performances, and other meaningful opportunities to share their growth and celebrate their achievements.
- Communicate with families and team members to support each student’s musical journey and celebrate milestones along the way.
- Document lesson progress and attendance to ensure thoughtful, high quality, student centered care.

Job Description:
As a Client Success Coordinator at OC Music Services, you will play a central role in creating a welcoming, organized, and supportive experience for the families we serve. We are a small family owned studio with a mission to provide equal musical opportunities within our community. Our services include traditional music lessons, adapted lessons, and music therapy.
This role is the first point of contact for many of our families and community partners. You will help guide new families through the intake process, support ongoing communication, and ensure that scheduling and studio operations run smoothly. Your work directly supports our clinicians and educators so they can focus on delivering high quality services.
You will help maintain consistent communication with families, coordinate schedules and changes, and support the daily flow of the studio environment. This includes contributing to a warm and organized studio atmosphere that reflects our values of inclusivity, growth, creativity, and community involvement.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, team player, and personable professional who enjoys building genuine relationships and creating positive interactions with families. Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and existing families.
- Manage studio scheduling.

- Proactively identify scheduling conflicts or gaps and implement solutions.

- Work closely with therapists, instructors, and leadership to ensure aligned communication.
