what you'll play
Bring the songs you love and we find the easiest way in, often with just a few chords. Most guitar songs share the same handful of shapes, so every song you learn makes the next one easier.
no nerves needed
What music do you love? Acoustic or electric? Played before? Your teacher listens first.
Your first chord in the first few minutes, then a simple strum along with a song you know.
One song to practice at home and a clear next step, so the week between lessons feels doable.
Guitar asks one hand to shape chords while the other keeps the rhythm, all while you listen and sing along. It builds patience, coordination, and a skill you can bring to any campfire or jam.
One hand frets, one hand strums. Both get stronger every week.
Steady strumming builds a strong inner beat.
Chords feel tricky at first, then click. That feeling is the best.
Guitar is made for sharing. Sing alongs, jams, and family nights.

Total beginners and returning players. Learn for joy and to unwind.
Play the music you grew up with, at your own pace.
Patient, flexible teaching for students who learn differently.

Either works. Many start on acoustic, but if your heart is set on electric, start there. Loving the sound keeps you practicing.
Many kids start around 6 or 7 on a smaller guitar. Younger kids can start on ukulele, which is smaller and has fewer strings, then move to guitar when they are ready. The chords and skills carry right over.
A little at first while your fingertips toughen up. It passes in a few weeks, and we keep early practice short.
Both, when you are ready. Many guitarists start with chords and tabs, and we add reading for those who want it.
