Jessica believes that music is an innate language that can be understood by everyone, making it a vital tool in human connection. Supporting students who use music to navigate through their identities and creativity contribute to Jessica’s love for working in music education.

Jessica’s academic background in American Sign Language Linguistics and Deaf Cultures ignited their passion for accessible and accommodating education, as they believe that every individual, especially those from vulnerable and marginalized backgrounds, are deserving of achieving their best selves.
