Our philosophy is to nurture our student and clients’ growth within a supportive and patient environment through music. We believe everyone should have access to music regardless of their needs. Our Irvine studio location offers all the equipment needed for fun, music exploration in Orange County.

We are trained and continue our education on working with students and clients of all abilities, respecting individual sensory preferences and cognitive differences. We strive to provide a Neurodiversity Affirming Approach and assume competence for every person.

Our Campus

OC Music Services is a non-denominational music organization. We share a campus with the Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot in Irvine, CA. The campus is equipped with a lobby, indoor and outdoor waiting areas, ADA accessibility, and large parking area.

What is music therapy?

Music Therapy is the clinical & evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program. – AMTA

What does a music therapy session look like?

Music therapy sessions are planned and tailored to each individual client. No two sessions look alike as goals and music preference are unique to each person. When you fill out your intake form you will be asked questions that will help the music therapist get a better understanding of behaviors, goals, and preferences.
