If you are interested in or have been referred to music therapy there are a few steps that need to take place before sessions begin.
A 60-minute music therapy assessment will take place where the board certified music therapist will observe the client in a musical setting. A treatment plan addressing non-musical goals will then be created based on assessment observations, IEPs, other treatment goals, and/or client-parent interview.
The assessment will include a recommendation for music therapy stating frequency and time.

Music therapy sessions are planned and tailored to each individual client. No two sessions look alike as goals and music preference are unique to each person. When you fill out your intake form you will be asked questions that will help the music therapist get a better understanding of behaviors, goals, and preferences.
At the moment we only accept private payment, however we are in the process of partnering with insurance providers.
