FAQ
HOW DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK?
Online students will need a computer, tablet, or mobile phone with both audio and video capabilities to participate in lessons. Prior to your lesson, you will receive a link to access your own personal lesson room. Weekly assignments and notes are emailed and shared via your student portal.
HOW DOES TELEHEALTH WORK?
To enroll in online music therapy, interested parties must have a computer, tablet, or mobile phone with both audio and video capabilities. OCMS uses a secure, HIPAA compliant platform for telehealth services. Clients do not need an instrument unless they would like to participate in active music experiences. More information based on specific client recommendation.
WHAT IF I HAVE PHYSICAL CHALLENGES?
Caregiver participation is requested for clients with higher physical support needs. The music therapist or adaptive music teacher on staff will communicate with either the client or caregiver on how to best support during sessions to be successful.
WHAT IS THE COST FOR SESSIONS?
Online sessions are the same as in-studio rates.
ARE ONLINE SESSIONS RIGHT FOR ME?
Online services may not be the best fit for everyone. During our initial meeting, we will go over set up and any questions you may have. We will explain any limitations to services and offer alternatives if needed.

Testimonials
Since Jess (Angelman’s Syndrome) has been working with Lety, we’ve seen an outstanding increase in non-verbal communication, subvocalization, rhythm, and dexterity. Jessica absolutely loves working with Lety and always finishes her class with a huge smile. Lety bridges the gap of therapeutic work and play in a way that makes progress fun and engaging. I would highly recommend Lety (music therapy) for all ages and levels of capability.
Over the past few years, Lety has patiently taught me guitar as I navigated trying to manage lessons and practice with a busy family and business. I’ve appreciated not only her guitar wisdom and expertise, but the patience and guidance she has for a slow-moving adult learner. From teaching me the many elements of guitar to working with me on music theory understanding, I’ve gained so much from my time as her student.
Our family really appreciates the instruction Lety has given our child over the past 2 years. We love hearing Katylin improve and she loves playing her pieces. Lety has been patient with Katylin and encourages her to practice and keep working through her mistakes. We recommend Lety for anyone looking for piano lessons!
